Key Responsibilities

As an Associate Director of Development, you will:

  • Lead negotiations with landowners, securing site control agreements and planning/use permit approvals.

  • Oversee various studies and collaborate with external consultants to ensure projects stay on budget and schedule.

  • Effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders, from government officials to community members, maintaining positive relationships.

  • Drive complex negotiations and devise innovative solutions to project-specific challenges.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to your team, both externally and internally, ensuring their professional growth and success.

  • Play a hands-on role in project management, balancing management and mentorship within your team.

Qualifications for Success

To thrive in this role, you should:

  • Possess over 5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector.

  • Have experience in MISO, PJM, ERCOT, and SPP power markets, showcasing your understanding of market dynamics.

  • Demonstrate a successful track record of managing projects from inception to Notice to Proceed (NTP).

  • Share our passion for achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree and proficiency in the industry.
