We are recruiting for a Construction Manager with extensive experience in Substation construction projects. Our client is a leading construction company within the Power Delivery sector.

The Construction Manager will be tasked with the following job description:

• Lead and participate in the construction of Substation projects, this will include estimate developments and project plan developments
• Overseeing and ensuring completion of project deliverables
• To maintain and make sure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Maintain communication with operations to ensure the understanding of project scope and schedule
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors
• Provide company management and maintain communication throughout regarding project schedule/status

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years experience of managing Utility construction projects
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office ; Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Project Management, Construction Management or Engineering
• PMP Certification is desirable
• PE Licensed is highly desirable
• Must have a valid drivers license
• You will be required to travel for certain projects
