Main Accountabilities:
Lead a Team of multicultural, multidisciplinary engineers at different stages of personal and professional maturity, and located in different Countries and Time Zones.
Act as Mentor and Coach.
Set clear work agenda, Teams’ goals, priorities in order to achieve high standards of performance, motivation and engagement.
Foster an environment of continuous candid and constructive feedback and improvement, leveraging full potential achievement.
In collaboration with People’s Area, define the Development Plan and Career Path/movements, thus actively contributing for engineering competencies in the areas of the Group’s responsibility and in general in the engineering area.
Set the right tone, aligned with Mission, Vision and Values of the Company. Walk the talk.
Define, in collaboration with other relevant areas and internal key stakeholders, the resource plan for the area under responsibility.
Create high quality interfaces with other areas of the company, actively contributing for full potential in terms of collaboration.
Define and supervise the development, review and approval of design methodologies, numerical models, and design procedures/processes in coordination with Quality Area, and according to ISO standards.
Give guidance on selection of internal or external design tools/software.
Competencies:
10+ years of experience in a similar role, with proven People Leadership experience in changing environments (Organizational transformation due to Business Scale Up, Merges, etc...)
Proven experience with managing operational, business and financial drivers.
In depth knowledge of Floating Offshore technology (Wind or O&G).
In depth knowledge of Wind Offshore market.
Experience with managing complex execution projects in changing environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, OrcaFlex, Rhinoceros, Orca3D or OpenFAST, Python, Matlab.
In depth knowledge of Experience with aero-hydro, ballast system, Design Load Case Philosophy, motion analysis, mooring/cables and installation, wind turbine selection.
In depth knowledge of metocean and wind/wave data processing methodologies and practices.
Outstanding communication skills.
Mandate on Spoken and written English, including Technical English.
