What Your Role Is:

As an Electrical Estimator within our Operations – Projects department, reporting to the Lead Estimator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our projects. Your responsibilities will include:

Estimation:

- Reviewing project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine accurate cost estimates.

- Analyzing time, material, and manpower requirements for each project.

- Performing takeoffs and developing comprehensive cost estimates according to specifications.

- Staying updated on industry costs and utilizing company-provided software for estimation.

- Raising and addressing concerns to mitigate risks and ensure project success.

- Collaborating with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.

- Applying independent discretion in developing project estimates and factors.

- Attending pre-bid "Walk Through" meetings and analyzing safety and code requirements.

- Working closely with our sales team and clients to acquire projects seamlessly.

Reporting:

- Providing accurate and timely reports and information to management.

- Maintaining and updating estimation logs and company documents.

- Conducting bid reviews for consistency and quality among the team.

- Participating in strategy meetings and resolving issues with the management team.
