GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Finance Lead (CFO) is responsible for ensuring that all financial and procurement matters for the client are in accordance with legislation, ethical practices, internal policies as agreed between the partners

The Finance Lead, under the supervision of the shareholders appointees, will lead discussions with financial institutions in order to find the best financing solution for delivering the offshore wind projects. The Finance Lead will help develop the contracting & procurement strategy with the Procurement Lead, who will lead the contracting, procurement and supply chain engagement, and negotiation with potential contractors and selection processes in close cooperation with the Technical Lead.

The Finance Lead reports to the CEO. As an officer, the Finance Director provides clear recommendations to the Project Director and board of directors on managing complex financing and procurement issues.

The role requires thoughtful coordination and cooperation with the other senior members of Management and Project Teams as well with sponsors’ teams in order to capture the lessons learned from project portfolio. 

This role will be located in New York City Metro Area.  The candidate should expect some travelling as well as occasional visits to the corporate around the US and Europe.
