Description:

• Model transmission structures using Power Line Systems (PLS) software including any underbuild and third-party attachments, guying, and Communication Infrastructure Providers

• Perform quality reviews for transmission projects, including

  using design-specific tools such as PLS-TOWER and PLS-POLE.

• Coordinate design activities with other disciplines (Civil/structural, telecom, transmission, etc.)

• Prepare and present technical reports for clients and industry publications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited college

• Minimum 12 years experience in transmission line design or equivalent

• Professional Engineering (P.E.) license

• Working knowledge of PLS-POLE and PLS-TOWER

• Minimal travel, up to 20% of the time
