Looking for a person with a technical background but with strong management capabilities to extend project capacity in the US branch. This position is a Project Manager, who shall take care of different projects supervision and coordination. S/he will be in charge of assuring that the same quality standards, engineering guidelines and processes are applied across different projects in the same way. As well as other diverse management activities are aimed to support the management of the US branch.

Essential Position Responsibilities:

• Supervise and make sure that different projects are executed in the same way, meeting the same standards in compliance with internal processes.

• Direct contact with customer and other stakeholders to gather information, expectations and follow-up the progress of the project.

• Apply a continuous improvement approach to improve processes for future projects based on experience and learnt lessons.

• Report the project progress in a clear manner, as needed, either verbally or in written (for the formal records). Typically, on a weekly basis through follow-up meetings with both client an internal colleagues and filling out control project documents.

• Provide suggestions and recommendations to enhance the final product, from a client’s stand point.

• Little to no travel is expected outside Greater Boston Area. If necessary, there might be any travel within the US or Canada to client’s offices or facilities to hold meetings.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, IT or electrical relate discipline or equivalent experience

• 3+ years of experience in working with SCADA systems

• 3+ years of experience in renewable energy

• 3+ years of experience in project management

• SCADA systems: architecture, design and general operation and purpose

• Energy / renewable energy background: Photovoltaic (PV) and Wind are mandatory

• Managerial experience for staff and projects

• Budgetary experience

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational skills

• Ability and willingness to work, collaborate and cooperate with co-workers from other countries for the sake of the good progress of projects and following company interests

• Ability to identify the critical path within the project activities

• Ability to understand project schedule’s milestones and constraints, risks and ability to manage them, proposing corrective or preventive actions to assure projects’ good progress

• Basic networking knowledge: the candidate shall understand the basics of a communication network and the different networking devices involved (switch, firewall, router…).

• Basic knowledge of industrial standard communication protocols: general features, configuration, constraints (i.e. DNP3, Modbus, OPC…).

• Leading and basic management skills to deal with customers and co-workers, participate in meetings, being able to expose activities in a clear manner and manage expectations efficiently

• Proficiency with Office tools: Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio and Project

• Ability to work in a constant start of alertness and safe manner

 Preferred Skills:

• Energy / renewable energy background in any other energy (hydro, geothermal, carbon, oil, etc...)

• Field knowledge / experience in renewable plants SCADA installation, start/up and testing.
