Primary Role:

The Regional Lead of Project Development will be a vital part of the development division. With a small team underneath you from day 1 and the chance to grow out the team, this role is ideal for someone with some existing managerial responsibilities looking to grow their direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside VP of Project Development to develop and lead project activities.

  • Responsible for leading activities in our Northeast market focusing on development of utility scale solar and storage projects

  • Evaluate overall workforce development strategy of the project development team.

  • Responsible for coordinating project development activities between various departments and stakeholders.

  • Secure key development assets needed for utility-scale renewable energy projects, including site control, interconnection, and permits at the federal, state, and local levels.

  • Provide guidance and support to the project development team.

  • Provide leadership and direction to cross functional teams.

  • Grow the project pipeline and manage multiple projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering

  • 5 years + work experience in renewable energy development

  • Knowledge of and experience with Storage technology and storage business models

  • Knowledge of US power markets and basic power marketing

  • Demonstrated successful leadership ability

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill

  • Excellent organization skills
