These firms range from successful small local companies to regional leaders who are all looking to bring on delivery focused staff to help complete their expansive backlog of traffic projects while also helping mentor/manage junior engineers to help build the foundation of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform as senior engineer, and/or technical specialist on traffic engineering projects (Operations & Design)
• Deliver traffic engineering projects on time and within budget
• Assist in the completion of proposals for traffic engineering projects
• Mentor younger engineers in the traffic engineering group

Job Qualifications:

• Civil engineering degree or equivalent transportation degree
• 6 – 12 years experience in traffic engineering
• Florida Professional Engineer
• FDOT district 2 experience required
• Experience with Synchro, CORSIM, Vissim, Microstation, HCS
