Technical Project Manager for Offshore Wind Farms in the US

Based in our office in Boston (US, Massachusetts), you will be responsible for supporting clients with operations preparations consultancy services. As part of a small and growing local team, you will also take an important role in building the Wind US presence, services, and engagement with the US market. You will act as a Technical Project Manager with responsibility for a range of operations preparation tasks.

Your responsibilities will include:

Taking responsibility for project management, including planning, budgeting, and the development of processes from early-stage development, towards project commissioning in order to facilitate successful operations;
Managing O&M interfaces towards EPC packages during development and construction and support the handover process from construction to operations;
Assessing the US supply chain for O&M services, developing local content strategies, and engaging with potential suppliers;
Negotiating service contracts and facilitating O&M requirements to EPC procurement with support from the back-office team globally;
Developing country specific solutions for the specific project based on general Wind best practice;

Experienced Technical Project Manager with a Proactive Attitude

You have a technical or operational engineering university degree and experience from both fields, combined with a flair for commercial topics. You have at least 2-4 years of post-education experience where, ideally, you have worked with several onshore or offshore wind projects, that have given you broad experience and a wide skill set from the renewable energy sector. The perfect candidate has the relevant experience combined with a proactive attitude, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and works well under pressure. But more importantly wants to be part of a motivated team of consultants from different disciplines and parts of the world, that work together to ensure high-quality deliverables for international clients.
