A thriving local traffic engineering specialist consultancy is looking to bring in a Senior Engineer/Project Manager with extensive experience in traffic signal design to complete their ongoing backlog and help build a design team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Traffic engineering designs such as signals, signing, pavement marking, ITS, lighting, and maintenance of traffic plans

• Projects ranging from small-scale, isolated locations and/or designs to complex solutions for urban arterial networks and major freeway systems

• Collaboration with a talented and professional team

• Demonstration of hands-on traffic engineering experience

• Assistance training junior level staff

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

• Eight plus years of traffic engineering experience is required.

• Understand traffic engineering and operations

• Possess excellent technical writing skills

• Experience with or a willingness to learn MicroStation, GuidSign, AGI 32 AutoCAD, GEOPAK, HCS, Synchro/SimTraffic.

• Previous experience training junior level staff

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Florida
