Job Description

In this role, you'll take on the exciting challenge of leading Renewable Energy Projects. As the Director of Development, you will:

• Collaborate effectively with the existing Development team, driving forward Utility-scale projects that make a real impact.

• Spearhead the acquisition of real estate rights for promising development opportunities.

• Cultivate and nurture valuable relationships with property owners and local stakeholders.

• Lead resource management processes and excel at forecasting project outcomes.

• Take charge of external stakeholders involved in critical environmental assessment campaigns.

• Oversee external stakeholders driving property and sales tax abatement efforts.

• Guide the occasional permitting activities, working in tandem with your supportive team members.

• Create project budgets, schedules, and captivating RFP responses.

• Be the supportive force for other team members, fostering an environment of growth and success.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking someone extraordinary. The ideal Director of Development (Renewable Energy Projects) should bring:

• Over 6 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, demonstrating your depth of knowledge and expertise.

• Exposure to exciting utility-scale solar + storage projects, showcasing your enthusiasm for innovation.

• A proven track record of successfully shepherding multiple projects from inception to Notice to Proceed (NTP), highlighting your capability to lead in high-stakes environments.

• A strong passion for contributing to the renewable energy industry's mission of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, an opportunity to drive change.
