Our client are looking for a highly motivated individual to play a key role in our engineering, technical and operations team.

The Project Engineering Manager must be familiar with all aspects of the development, procurement, construction, and commissioning of renewable energy projects (“projects”).

  • During the development phase, she/he will collaborate with the development of internal and external teams to obtain all the permits, authorizations, and licenses necessary and she/he will be also in charge of negotiation EPC and procurement contracts for the projects.

  • During the construction and commissioning phase, she/he will coordinate and supervise all project engineers (3rd party) and contractors, in conjunction with the project PM.

  • Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering activities for PV and BESS facilities including civil, low voltage electrical, medium voltage electrical, battery storage and structural engineering; and including contracting, schedule management, design set review and implementation with 3rd engineers, EPC, developers and other internal and outside resources and service providers.

  • Manage technical due diligence log for 3rd party construction lenders and consultants

  • Manage technical interface with 3rd party project developer  

Experience

  • 7+ years engineering experience on solar photovoltaic utility scale, preferably with multi-year experience in >50 MW projects. 

  • Project Management mindset, experience and approach

  • Experience with ISO (specifically CAISO) and NERC processes

  • Broad knowledge of overall engineering and technical components of PV & BESS.

  • In depth knowledge of PV systems equipment, including industry best-practices on equipment sizing, selection, and implementation.

  • Have strong MV and LV electrical background
