​RO Energy only partner with major leading renewable energy developers (inc IPP, Owner Operator) market leaders developing, financing, engineering, building and operating utility scale solar and battery energy storage projects in the US. Many of our clients have a healthy pipeline ranging between 5GW up to 20GW+.

RO are seeking multiple Solar Project Development Managers for our partners to develop and manage all aspects of current and future solar or solar & storage projects. The primary responsibility of this position will be to manage the "Company’s" growing portfolio of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects and to manage/work alongside a team of project developers to advance the company’s pipeline of large development projects, which includes overseeing major development milestones like environmental due diligence, permitting and interconnection activities. This includes green-fielding efforts through permitting until the start of construction.

Roles are fully remote.

Requirements:

  • At least 3-5 years of transactional project development related experience preferably in solar, renewables energy, or energy storage sector.

  • Relevant market knowledge in a minimum of one ISO/RTO - PJM, MISO, ERCOT, SPP, CAISO, WECC or South East market.

  • Proven leadership and management capabilities.

  • Strong understanding of energy and regulatory markets.

  • Hard-working and able to prioritize a large task load in a fast-paced environment.

  • Self-motivated.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Bachelor's Degree with strong academic record from a leading undergraduate program, in engineering, business administration, and economics preferred.

  • Advanced degree highly desirable.
